Welcome to my website. I live in Bournville, Birmingham and love to paint the local and surrounding area as well as sea and landscapes including the coasts of Cornwall and back to my family roots of the beautiful scenery of Wales and Ireland.
I graduated from De Montfort University in Leicester with a degree in Graphic Design in 1996. I have since worked for Birmingham Libraries all my working life, but in recent years returned to my love of painting.
I love to work in Acrylic and more recently Oil. I take inspiration from light and shade, which allows me to make more expressive brushstrokes and vibrant colours in my work.
I have exhibited at the Purple Gallery in Bournville and Inspired Gallery in Usk Monmouthshire and a number of times at the Royal society of Artists at their ‘Friends Exhibition’
